Donald R. Rucker, 79, of Sharon, KS, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital, Medicine Lodge, KS. He was born on October 14, 1939 in Forest City, KS, the son of the late Lee Rucker and Ruby Ruth (Martin) Rucker. On May 30, 1959, he married Barbara (Rose) Rucker in Alva, OK.

She survives. Donald worked for 13 years at National Gypsum, before becoming a full time farmer/rancher. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, KS.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Barbara Rucker of Sharon, KS are two sons, Mark Rucker of Sharon, KS and Michael (Denise) Rucker of Medicine Lodge, KS; two daughters, Linda Lukens of Medicine Lodge, KS and Donna (Larry) Gaug of Harper, KS; Ten Grandchildren, Clayton Rucker, Wayne Rucker, Wendy Potelle, Brandon Lukens, Wesley Lukens, Jeremy Gaug, Lindsey Smith, Courtney Rucker, Lee Rucker, and Landon Rucker; Eleven Great-Grandchildren, Demarian, Justin, Tanner, Ryder, Cheyenne, Cannon, Colter, Reid, Cammille, Kynlee, & Kase; Two brothers, Gary (Emmajo) Rucker of Medicine Lodge, KS and David (Mary) Rucker of Sharon, KS. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Tom Walters officiating.

Inurnment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, KS. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, KS or the Sharon Fire Department, in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. Condolences may be left at www.
