Obituary for Donald Wayne Bradley Donald Wayne Bradley, 64, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday December 1, 2018 at Landmark of Bardstown in Bardstown, Ky. . He was born in Louisville to Charles ” Billy” and Ruth Burba Bradley.

He was a retired English teacher for Nelson and Hardin Co. Schools. Don was a former sports writer for The News-Enterprise. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Bardstown and former member of First Baptist Church of Sonora. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Father-in-law, Larry Corder, Maternal Grandparents Roscoe and Lou Ella Burba, Paternal Grandparents Charles and Madge Bradley. He is survived by his loving Wife of 34 years, Penny Corder Bradley of Bardstown, KY.

two sons, John Corder Bradley, and K. C. Bradley of Bardstown, KY, two brothers, Dale (Conna) Bradley of Upton, KY, Doug Bradley of Bowling Green, KY, mother-in-law, Susie Corder of Elizabethtown, KY, Nieces and Nephews, and a special Family Friend, Krissy Yocum Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 5, 2018 11:00 am at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY With Rev. Gary Chesser officiating with cremation to follow services. Visitation will be Tuesday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Wednesday 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
