Donald William Hopkins “Hoppy,” 80, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away February 8, 2019. He is survived by his loving daughters; Kelly (Kevin Flores) Hopkins, Kristy (Kirk) Killingsworth, Karen (Damian) Perry, beloved grandchildren; Sean (Gina) Killingsworth, Shanna Killingsworth, Sydney (Duncan) Lawniczak, and Nicholas Perry. He was predeceased by his 2 wives Carole Zetterberg Hopkins and Carol Walters.

Don was a US Coast veteran and a retired police officer. He worked as an officer for 27 years including the City of Hialeah, and was a Palm Beach County Sheriff Officer. In his free time, Don enjoyed antiquing, collecting many things including light houses and walking canes.

He also enjoyed going to the casino to play slots, playing senior softball and volunteered at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton.
