Donald Winovich 6/30/33-5/9/19 Don passed away in the company of his loving family at age 85. Don was born and raised in Pittsburgh and proud of his Serbian heritage. Don was a devout fan of anything Pittsburgh.

He was the son of Nicholas and Mary, brother Nick (Adrienne) and Sister Martha (Milan). Don and Helen (Eller)were married 57 yrs and raised 4 children Barry, Brian(Camerin), Bobby and Danica in Rosslyn Farms PA and Chagrin Falls OH. Known as Papa to his loving grandchildren Hannah, Katie, Charlie, Luke, Hope, Sydney, Ben, Mitchell, Will, and Marnie.

Don was forever proud of his family. You could easily find Don at any of the Chagrin/Kenston fields proudly watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and cheering them on fearlessly. He was a kind soul who was genuinely welcoming and ready to listen or make introductions to anyone who needed help.

He was a wonderful singer and dancer who taught lessons in his younger days. Don attended Westminster College before being drafted into the Army and after service he graduated from Pitt with honors. He worked for Texaco and General Electric and owned the Western Reserve Lightning Rod Company.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to ALS Association Northern Ohio. Services and Burial : Thursday, May 16 at Holy Angels Church 18205 Chillicothe Rd Chagrin Falls, OH 44023.
