Donna A. Poore 56, of Hartly, peacefully passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her home in Hartly, DE. Donna was born on September 13, 1962 in Dover, DE. She is the daughter of David and Lois Poore of Harrington, DE.

She graduated from Lake Forest High School Class of 1980. She worked for Valley Refrigeration for 5 years, then moved to Lynchburg, VA for 15 years working at Nationwide Insurance. Returning to Delaware, she met Bill, the love of her life.

One of her favorite things was being a farmers wife and a Mommom to Jase. They enjoyed camping and tractor pulls. She adored her furbaby, Kalie.

She will be remembered for her ornery personality and witty charm. Most of all she was a maternal soul to many loved ones. Donna is preceded in death by her father, David Poore, her brother David Wayne Poore and her Sister in law, Jeannie Poore.

She is survived by her Mother, Lois Poore, Husband, William “Bill” Szelestei, Son, William Matthew Szelestei, Daughter in law, Jessica Szelestei, Grandson, Jase Matthew Szelestei, Brothers and Sister, John Poore (Tina) VA, Bruce Poore Sr (Pat Walls) DE, Kathleen Spence (Charles) VA, Nephews and Niece, Bruce Poore Jr, Phillip Spence, Jeromy Poore, Joshua Spence, Michael Spence, Blake Poore and Heather Winters. Viewing will be from 12:00 noon until service time of 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. , Wyoming.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to offset funeral expenses to Pippin Funeral Home. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.
