Pastor Kent Jenson officiated, and burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Donna was born October 19, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to Paul James and Armenda Lavon (Hartzog) Smith.

She passed away April 30, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. Donna enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing games and painting.

She is survived by husband, Jim Cowles of Turley; sons, Donald Palmer and wife, Angela of Oologah and Steve Palmer of Norman; grandchildren, April Palmer of Tulsa; Jayden Palmer and Ryian Palmer of Oologah; sister, Deanna Meli of Washington; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Armenda Smith; and grandmother, Onie Mae Payne. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
