. Donna Jean McCue, age 63, of Lapeer, formerly of Warren, died Monday April 29, 2019. She was born February 3, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, to Huba and Gladys (Greene) Thomas.

Donna attended Hamtramck High School and graduated in 1974. She worked for over 30 years as a medical assistant for numerous doctors. Donna was a strong spirit, she had fun gardening, listening to music, but above all else she enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren.

Mrs. McCue is survived by her two children: James (Mariah) McCue of Hamtramck and Cory (Corey Evans) Powell of Lapeer; grandchildren: Lucas, Charlotte and one on the way; sister: Sharon (Harold) Tanalski of St. Clair Shores; and good friend: James Richard McCue of Lapeer, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her Parents Huba and Gladys (Greene) Thomas. In keeping with Donna’s wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Lapeer.
