THOMPSON DONNA REA On Saturday, July 7, 2018, age 79, of Allison Park, PA. Wife of 56 years to James Smillie (deceased); mother of James (Amy), Rebecca Winek (Michael), David (Sandra), Rachel (Joe) Muczinski; lovingly referred to as “Gram” by her grandchildren, Lindsey Lynch (Andrew), Max, Nathan, Hannah, Haley, Elliot, Audrey, Lilly, and Nolan and great-grandchildren Jackson and Owen. Donna was raised in Beaver, PA along with her sister, Jonna (Bill) Looney, by her parents, Rachael and Rea Shupe.

She graduated from Beaver High School in 1956. She earned a degree in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in 1960. She spent most of her working career managing her husband’s private medical practice in Shaler.

Her love was for her Lord, her family, the University of Pittsburgh, and all persons with whom she interacted. Visitation will be: Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., NEELY FUNERAL HOME, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd.

, Glenshaw, PA. A memorial service will be on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. at Elfinwild Presbyterian Church, 3200 Mt. Royal Blvd.
