Obituary for Donna Vonne Martin (Veverka) Martin, Donna Vonne, age 94, of Xenia, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, January 11th, 2019 in Xenia at her home. She was born January 12th, 1924 to Mamie Leck) and Raymond Veverka. After High School she taught in a one room schoolhouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George F Veverka and Kenneth R Veverka; sons David J Martin and Donald L Martin; daughter Debra K Martin. Donna is survived by her husband of 73 years James H Martin, daughter Linda S Martin and son Roger J Martin: 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. .
To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to share during her visitation at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St, Bellbrook, OH 5305 on Saturday January 19, 2019 from to 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Her Life Celebration Services will be held immediately afterward on Saturday, with a private burial at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Miami Valley, 46 N Detroit St, Ste B, Xenia, Ohio 45385 or plant a tree in her memory through the Conner and Koch Life Celebration website under “Place a donation”.
