OBITUARY Donna Wilhelmena Landes Donna Back Drury Landis 101 Years Old Beloved wife, mother, grandma and a friend to all, Donna passed away peacefully on July 17, 2018. She was born on January 23, 1917 to Alvin and Mamie Watkins. Mom was very talented and loved to learn.

She was a nurse and worked at Primary Children’s Hospital as a surgical nurse. Later Mom Was Tom’s nurse. Mom’s enthusiasm and gusto for life was contagious and she was always so much fun to be with.

Her greatest joy was to be with her family. She married Jack Back and had three beautiful children. They later divorced.

She married Dr. Thomas Drury and they had 36 wonderful years together. She married Lee Landis at 82 years old and had 4 great years together before his death. Living on her own at 90 years old, she learned to play the piano.

This was a real challenge since she was almost blind. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shirley (Lynn) Christensen and Pam (Mel) Myers, Tom’s 6 children and Lee’s loving family. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her sons, Jack, Tom, and Lee. Funeral services will be held July 26, 2018, 2:00 PM, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr., Salt Lake City, UT. Friends may call from 1:00-1:45 PM before the service.

Interment will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery. FAMILY Shirley (Lynn) Christensen, Daughter Pam (Mel) Myers, Daughter Donna is also survived by Tom’s 6 children and Lee’s loving family as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
