OBITUARY Donnie “Don” Allen Ledbetter November 29, 1948 – January 8, 2019 Waynesville-Donnie “Don” Allen Ledbetter, 70 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, after having an apparent heart attack at his residence. Don was born in Livingston, TN on September 29, 1948, to the late Sidney and Addie Smith Ledbetter. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and walking around Lake Junaluska.

Don had been retired for 3 years after working as a meat cutter for 52 years. Don is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Phyllis Arrington Ledbetter; daughters, Angie Ledbetter and Crystal Olcott; eight brothers and sisters; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 10, at Panther Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Ronald Greene officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 166 Weaver Russell Rd, Clyde, NC 28721.
