Doris Anna Burris of Templeville, Maryland passed away April 29,2019, she was 90 years old. Born on December 22, 1928 in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Pearl (nee Seward) Burris. Doris was a lifetime resident of the area and worked at Playtex for 47 years until retiring in 1994.

In addition to her parents she is preceded by her brothers William Burris, Melvin Burris, sister Alice Mae Collins, and 3 nephews Rocky Burris, Melvin V. Burris and James A. Starkey. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral home in Greensboro, Maryland, at 2 o’clock with a visitation one hour prior.
