Laurinburg, NC Doris Catoe Baucom, 88, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC. Mrs. Baucom was formerly of Bennettsville, SC. Born December 5, 1930 in Lancaster, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Pluma Snipes Catoe.

She was a member of the Bennettsville First Presbyterian Church and was a retired bookkeeper with Charlotte Chevorlet, Baucom Chevrolet and with Redding Plumming & Electric. Mrs. Doris enjoyed playing golf. She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband, William Homer Baucom, brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Baucom is survived by her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Baucom Gray, of Raeford, NC; granddaughters, Tracy R. Lundy and Patricia Leigh Campbell (Brian); great-grandchildren, Kara Faith Lundy, Timothy Lane Lundy, Liam Trace Lundy, Annsley Kate Campbell, Cash Easton Campbell and Gray Maddox Campbell; sister, Marlene Hayes (Bruce) of Lancaster, SC. Memorials may be made to the Bennettsville First Presbyterian Church, 130 Broad St., Bennettsville, SC 29512 or Scotland Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353. A private family memorial service will be held at the Bennettsville First Presbyterian Church.
