OBITUARY Doris Deanne Ripley June 17, 1924 – July 17, 2018 Doris Deanne Mahaffey Green Ripley passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 and was born in Abilene, TX on June 17, 1924, to Alton Albert Mahaffey and Josie Mae Allen Mahaffey. Doris was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She liked to travel, play black jack and entertain at her home.

She was raised in Kerman, CA with her three brothers, Alton “Al”, Robert and Charles, and two sisters, Dorothy and Billie, who all preceded her in death. In Kerman, she met and married Jacob “Jake” Green in 1945, which produced their wonderful boys, David and Michael, who were raised in Fresno, CA. Both her parents and Jake preceded her in death She married John Ripley in 1984 who had a son Jeff and a daughter Judy, who preceded her in death.

Doris is survived by her two sons, David and Michael; and step-son Jeff Ripley; and their loving wives. Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, July 22, 2018, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be hled at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Inter- ment to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
