Doris Elaine “Bonnie” Leverett born on Dec. 9, 1937 passed away at the age of 81 on May 4, 2019 in Ocala Florida. A resident of Fowlerville and Brighton, MI most of her life.

She has resided in Ocala for the past five years. She loved the Lord and her large family. She was an avid reader, bowler, traveler and card player.

She worked as a secretary for several companies throughout her life and recently in her church office and sang in the choir. She was a caregiver for many family members and she loved animals. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles H. Leverett Jr. and her parents Clifford & Jean Geer.

Sisters: Norma (Carl) Giminelli, Marge (Ray) Williams, Sharon (Roger) Jackson and Brenda Geer. Brothers Walt (Joan) Geer and Allan (Margaret) Geer. She is survived by her children, Lelani Jenkins, Teresa (Keith) Mellin, Lori (Ken) Reece and Mark (Lisha) Leverett.

Brother Frank (Carol) Geer and Sister Barbara (Bud) Yaroch. Grandchildren Jeremy, Andria, Robert, Meghan and Leslie. Great Grandchildren Justin, Jonathon, Haylee, Jacob, Charlotte and Mark.

Several first cousins, (who were like brothers & sisters to her), nieces, nephews, best friend Sandy Haas and Sister-in-law Shirley Leverett Hubbel. Viewing to be held at the Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville, MI on Wednesday May 15, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and service to be held on Thursday May 16, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment following funeral at the Lakeview Cemetery in Howell, MI.
