Steininger, 88, a former resident of Watsontown, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in the Wolf Run Village at Hughesville. Born Friday, July 30, 1930 she was a daughter of the late Jay and Edna (Lesher) Leiser. Doris was the widow of Paul O. Steininger who preceded her in death in 2003.

She was a 1948 graduate of the former Watsontown High School. Doris had been employed by the former West Co., Philco Corp and Grummans. Doris especially enjoyed caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy A. and husband Robert More of Montgomery, PA; one sister, Mary Engleman of Milton, PA; two grandchildren, Kimberly More of Montgomery, PA and Kevin More of Palmyra, PA; five great-grandchildren, Brady More, Bailey More, Sidney More, Colbey Puderbach and Connor Puderbach. In addition to her husband, Doris was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Snyder. Graveside funeral services will be conducted in the Watsontown Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 28, 2018 with Rev.
