Doris Marie (Burns) Locke SANTA FE – Mrs. Doris Marie (Burns) Locke passed from this life Monday morning, April 30, 2018, in Texas City. Born August 17, 1928 in Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. Locke had been a resident of Santa Fe for the majority of her life. Doris worked as a dairyman with her family in addition to working at Seawolf Park in Galveston, Texas Instruments in Houston and the Mall of the Mainland in Texas City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry James and Alphra Barbara (Myers) Burns; son, Adam Alexander Locke, Sr.; daughter, Susan Locke. Survivors include her children, Thomas Locke, Jr. and wife, Johnnie of Jasper, Rickie Locke of Buffalo, Linda Lollar and husband, James of Arlington, Ruth Stephens and husband, Calvin of Buffalo, Janet Danysh and husband, Tommy of Yoakum, Kathy Kortz and husband, Darin, Robert Locke, William Locke and wife, Shannon, all of Santa Fe; sister, Loraine McLerran of Yoakum; 22 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry Gibson officiating.

Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sean Bedford, Darin Kortz, Jr., Adam Locke, Jr., Calvin Stephens, Jr., Jeremy Sullivan and Paul Watson.
