Obituary of Doris Adeline Miller Doris A. Miller, born December 20, 1921 in Swift County, Minnesota, died March 22, 2019 in Bellingham, WA. She is survived by her children: Steven J. Miller, Spearfish, SD; Carol A. Quinlan, Deming, WA; and Mark C. Miller, Medford, OR. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Warren, and by her son, David W. Miller.

Doris is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. Doris was trained as a registered nurse and served briefly in the US Army at the end of WWII, stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. She will be interred in Eagle Point Military Cemetery in Medford, OR.

Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, served faithfully in her church all her life, and modelled selfless service and humility. She was a gifted seamstress, and her knitted and crocheted afghans are displayed and enjoyed in family members’ homes all over the country! She leaves a legacy of quiet devotion to her God, and of sacrificial giving to her family and to her friends.
