Robbinsville-Doris Bentley Davis Smith age 87, of Robbinsville, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday June 10, 2018. Born September 19, 1930 in Lenoir, NC, she was the youngest child of the late Everett and Annie Baird Bentley. She graduated from Kings Creek High School in Lenoir, NC and retired from Armour & Co. in Charlotte, NC.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Smith, her son, Tim Davis, brothers Malcolm and Phil Bentley, sisters Edith McCarthy and Mary Emma Isaacs. She is survived by her daughters, Martha Davis Hudson and husband Fred of Charlotte, NC, Robin Davis Mason and husband Robert of Robbinsville, NC, 9 grandchildren, Mike Hudson (Cindy), Kelli Genaro (Tony), Cassady Perry, Seth Mason, Tyler Davis, Daniel Davis, Brian Mason, Geni Mason, Chris Mason, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff and residents of Graham Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Robbinsville, NC.

The care and love given to Doris in the years that she resided there were very much appreciated. She thought of you as members of her family. Information regarding a service will be announced at a later date.
