Obituary for Dorothea McClain Moore Dorothea McClain Moore, 85, passed away October 8, 2018. A native of Oklahoma City, Dorothea lived in Arlington since 1962. She earned a PH.D. degree and a Masters degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University.

Dorothea also attended Oklahoma Baptist University. Dr. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. DeWayne Moore, father, James William (Bill) McClain, Sr., Mother, Dorothy McClain, brother, James William McClain, Jr., and son, Harold Speer.

She is survived her her son, William E.
