OBITUARY Dorothy Christine DuBose February 8, 1930 – December 15, 2018 Dorothy Christine DuBose, 88, formerly of Charlotte, passed away late Saturday evening, December 15, 2018 at the Salisbury Center in Salisbury, NC. Born February 8, 1930 in Salisbury, NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Julius Cartin and Mary Elizabeth Moore Cartin. Preceding her death were her husbands, James Gorney and Leonard Vaughn DuBose.

Surviving are her children, James “Jimmy” Gorney and Judy Smith; three grandchildren and a sister, Hazel Blackmon. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Julia C. Pruett, Elsie Overcash, Mildred LeFevers, Alfred Cartin and Burdette Cartin. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Leonard DuBose in Salisbury National Cemetery.
