Dorothy “Dottie” Vudrogovic, 78, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Monday October 8, 2018 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. She was born July 9, 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late George and Cecelia (Vujnovich) Vudrogovic, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Vudrogovic, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Oran Kamerer. Dottie was a graduate of Mingo High School, she received her Bachelors in Education from Franciscan University and her Masters from Dayton University.

She retired from Buckeye Local High School where she taught government and English and she was also an adjunct professor of Education at Franciscan University. Dottie was a member of the STRS System; the Ohio Education Association; and the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Steubenville. Surviving are a sister, Martha Kamerer of Mingo Junction, OH; a sister-in-law, Pamela Vudrogovic of Steubenville, OH; a niece, Missi Marcino and her children, Austin and Haleigh of Mingo Junction, OH; three nephews, George Vudrogovic, III (Tayna) and her son Patrick of Steubenville, OH, Aaron M. (Christy) Kamerer and their children, Colin, Katie, Luke and Emma of Galloway, OH; and Michael Vudrogovic of Steubenville, OH; and many cousins and friends.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave. , Mingo Junction, on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. On Thursday, friends may call at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church, 530 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, OH from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Very Rev. Rade Merick officiating.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Pomen service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be directed in her memory to Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church.
