Obituary for Dorothy Duncan Dorothy Duncan, age 85, of Wildwood, passed September 9, 2018 in Leesburg, Florida. Dorothy was born on July 6, 1933 to Melvin and Mildred (Summa) Jones in New Rochelle, New York. Dorothy married Richard Duncan in September of 1953.

They moved from Poughkeepsie, New York to Wildwood in 1974. Dorothy was Catholic by faith, even though she wasn’t able to attend church, she always continued her faith. Dorothy worked in the restaurant business for most of her working life.

She managed the restaurant for the Dunedin County Club for many years before retiring. After retirement, she went to work for the Check Man in Wildwood for a period of time. Dorothy loved her family, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was very close to her extended family as well. You could often see her working in her yard and enjoying the outdoors. She loved to sit and visit and enjoyed a cup of coffee and a cigarette with friends and family.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Susan Duncan of Spruce Creek, son Todd Duncan of Inverness, daughter Cindy Wolfe of Wildwood, daughter Patty Duncan of Wildwood, grandsons Dwayne Wolfe and Michael Wolfe great-grandchildren Nyva, Dylan, Avryonnah, and Chevy and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Richard, and son Steven Duncan. Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
