Funeral service is Saturday, January 5, 2019, 11 am, with visitation starting at 10 am, all at Bertas Funeral Home, 200 W 3rd St., Chaska. Private family burial.

Dorothy was born on February 15, 1916, in St Paul, to Frank and Amelia (Feuerstein) Hanzel. She was one of eight children. Preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Zeipelt and second husband, Leo; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survived by her children; Richard (Polly) Zeipelt of OK, Karen (Keith) Traxler of Chaska, Chuck (Debra) of Chaska, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; sisters, Dolores Lee of St Paul, Bernadine Taft of St Paul; special nephew, Jeff Foster of Belle Plaine and his family; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
