WASHINGTON, Dorothy Helen, age 69, of Dayton, Ohio, departed this life Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born September 8, 1948 in Goshen, AL to the late Grover C. and Ophelia Pittman. Dorothy was a graduate of Colonel White High School.

She retired from the Federal Government after 30 plus years of dedicated service. Preceded in death by brothers, Matthew, Nathaniel and Bennie Pittman. She is survived by children, Kimberly Osborne, Leonard and Steven (LeShan) Pittman; siblings, Willy, Ray (Renee), Larry (Gloria), Melvin (Rhonda) and Ronnie (Diane) Pittman, Marilyn (Tony) Blackwell; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, April 30, 2018 at Phillips Temple Church, 3620 Shiloh Springs Rd. Pastor James E. Washington officiating. Visitation 9-11 am.

Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
