Dorothy M. Hoagland, 79, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away October 4, 2018 in Springfield, OH. She was born May 6, 1939 in Bloomingdale, OH, a daughter of the late Noel and Gladys Virginia (Tubaugh) Marker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles H. Myers; second husband, Albert Leroy “Abby” Hoagland; brothers, Harry E. Marker and D. Ray Marker; and sister, Margaret Marker.

Dorothy was a very active lifelong member of the Unionport Christian Church, where she enjoyed playing the piano. She retired from the United States Postal Office. Dorothy is survived by her son, Charles (Cheryl) Myers of Bloomingdale, OH; daughter, Leslie A Jefferis of Bloomingdale, OH; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. , Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Jeremy Kuttler officiating. Burial will follow at Bloomingdale Cemetery.
