Celebration of Life for Dorothy “Dot” Powell, 74 of Goltry, will be 10:00 am Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Eastin officiating. Dorothy was born November 30, 1944, in Borger, TX, to George and Audry L. Chapman Turman, and passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in Enid.

She graduated from Shidler High School, and then became a cosmetologist. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, raising dogs, spending time with her grandchildren, children, family, and her friends. Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Carrie Kuepfer and son-in-law Dave of Goltry, and her son Paul Matthew Powell and daughter-in-law JoEllen Worthington, grandchildren; Cole and Raven Pratt, Austin and Tiffany Guffy, Mary Schlup and Tucker Buss, Preston Schlup, Dylan Schlup, Ryan Landrum, Abigail Powell and Amber Powell.
