OBITUARY Dorothy L. Elliot December 4, 1929 – November 3, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Dorothy Ann Lucky Elliot was born in Buckholts, TX on December 4, 1929. She was the daughter of Mary Pearl Skinner Lucky and Clarence Carl Lucky. She died on November 3, 2018 in Highland Village, TX after a lengthy illness.

She graduated from Granger High School in 1947 where she was Salutatorian. She moved to El Paso with the family following her graduation; and worked for Mountain Bell as a secretary in the yellow pages department. She married Fred I. Elliot on May 13, 1950.

After the birth of her first daughter she left Mountain Bell and became a real estate broker in 1965 and owned her own real estate business during which she owned and managed several self-storage units though out the El Paso area. She moved to Lewisville, Texas in 2003 to be near her daughters and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisville as well as a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church in El Paso. She was also a member of the American Business Women’s Association, Amigos del Sol chapter and served as President and was chosen as woman of the year.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Pearl and Clarence Carl Lucky, her husband Fred I. Elliot, her brothers Thomas Carl, Harland Hugh, Billy Ray, and her sister Gladys Mae Lucky Millican. She is survived by her brother Frank Lucky and Roland Lee Lucky, daughters Joyce Elliot, Janice Elliot Jorge, son-in-law Eddy Jorge and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as her grand dogs, Frankie, Madison and Hunter. There will be a graveside service at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on November 09, 2018 at 2:30 pm FAMILY Janice Elliot Jorge, Daughter Eddy Jorge, Son-in-law Joyce Elliot, Daughter Frank Lucky, Brother Roland Lee Lucky, Brother She is survived by her brother Frank Lucky and Roland Lee Lucky, daughters Joyce Elliot, Janice Elliot Jorge, son-in-law Eddy Jorge and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as her grand dogs, Frankie, Madison and Hunter.
