Obituary for Dorothy Marie Shearrow Dorothy Marie Shearrow, age 89, of Alliance, died in the comfort of her home Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was born July 26, 1928 in Salineville, Ohio to John Thomas Scarry and Martha Marie (Smith Scarry. Dorothy attended Alliance High School and retired from Coastal Pets.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Marie Geissinger, of Summerville, SC, Linda Dawn (Jon) Karns of Alliance, and Laura Rae (Paul) Hoover of Alliance; grandchildren, Jeremy, Thomas, Brent and Kara; and great-grandchildren, Lily, Cecelia and Zoie. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one son-in-law. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Walton-Schrader Funeral Home with Pastor Angela Storer officiating.

Friends may call the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Police Department Canine Unit, 470 E. Market St. Alliance Ohio 44601 Arrangements are by Walton-Schrader Funeral Home.
