OBITUARY Dorothy Myrtle Spencer March 22, 1933 – November 25, 2018 Dorothy Myrtle Spencer, 85, of New Bloomfield, Missouri passed away on November 25, 2018 at St. Mary’s Health Care Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The family will receive guests from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born on March 22, 1933 to the late Otto and Rosie Summers Branch. She was married on August 28, 1952 in Fulton, Missouri to Lem “Pete” L. Spencer and he has preceded her in death. Dorothy attended Hickory Grove School in Tebbetts as a child.

She was a volunteer at the Food Pantry in Fulton and she enjoyed gardening, crafts and going to Senior Dances with her friends but her greatest love was spending time with her family. She is survived by five children, Linda Spencer of New Bloomfield, George Spencer and Dianna of New Bloomfield, Jim Spencer of Seattle, Washington, John Spencer and Laurie of New Bloomfield and Rose Spencer and Brian of New Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Tara Spencer and Laura Spencer; two great-grandchildren, Gentry Wilson and Spencer Bryan along with her beloved dog, Bernie. Dorothy was also preceded in death by four brothers, George, John, Earl and Evert Branch and three sisters, Ruby Bailey, Betty Grimm and Lela Boldwin.
