Dorothy M. Peck, 86 of Uniontown crossed over to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday February 17, 2019, after a long struggle with multiple myeloma. She was born January 6, 1933 in Champion a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Lottie Cramer Johnson. Dorothy was a 1950 graduate of Connellsville High School.

She was employed in retail sales for many years at Bon-Ton Department stores and at J.C. Penny. She was a member and past officer of the Uniontown Christian Women. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Uniontown for over 50 years and was a member of the Wesley Class and the Johanna Circle.

She is survived by two children, Colleen Zielinsky and her husband Joseph of Uniontown and Attorney Brent Peck and his wife Mariah of Uniontown; daughter-in-law Dr. Hillary Peck of Scottsdale, AZ. ; five grandchildren, Kyle Zielinsky and his wife Olivia of Bethel Park, Caitlin Zielinsky of Snellville, GA. , Meryl Peck and Elizabeth Peck of Scottsdale, AZ and Emily Peck of Uniontown; one brother, Larry Johnson and his wife Joyce of Indian Head and two nephews, Glen Kemp and his wife Jan of Indian Head and Matthew Johnson of Indian Head.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Merle E. “Rookie” Peck in 2002; one son, Dr.Kevin Peck and a sister, Mary Kemp. Friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. Wednesday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Beverly Roscoe and Dr. David Boyd of the Calvary United Methodist Church, co officiating. At Dorothy’s request there will be no graveside services.
