Dorse Milford Wadlow of Ironton, MO passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 91 years, 4 months, and 5 days. He was born January 14, 1928 in Sabula, MO to the late Charles and Molly Kelly Wadlow. On September 27, 1948 Dorse was united in marriage to Barbara Reed who survives.

To this union five children were born; Jan Duncan and late husband Ron of Fenton, formerly of Arcadia, Phil Wadlow and wife Ada of Iron Mountain, Craig Wadlow of High Ridge, Rob Wadlow and wife Kim of Fenton, and the late Dennis Wadlow and wife Carol of St. Louis. Surviving Dorse are his loving wife, Barbara, four children, Jan, Phil, Craig, and Rob; two brothers, Arlis Ray Wadlow and George Warren Wadlow; one sister, Carol Ivester; eight grandchildren; Cheri, Amanda, Brian, Jessie, Cody, Alex, Rachel, and Kelly; fourteen great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and many more loving family members and friends. Dorse is preceded in death and welcomed into Heaven by his parents, six brothers; Ross Wadlow, Charles William Wadlow, Cecil Doyle Wadlow, Freddie Clifford Wadlow, Floyd Leo Wadlow, Lloyd Cleo Wadlow, two sisters; Mildred Arnold and Wanna Louise Shults, one son Dennis Wadlow, one son-in-law Ron Duncan.

Dorse worked for General Motors as an Assembly Foreman for 30 years in St. Louis, and helped start the Burke City Volunteer Fire Department and served there for thirteen years. Dorse and Barbara are faithful members of the Iron Mountain First Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Dorse on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Cole Family Funeral Home.

A Visitation period will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 beginning at 5:00 pm and lasting until 8:00 pm. Reverend John Canterberry and Elder Mark Sutton will be officiating the services. Interment will take place in the Polk Cemetery in Arcadia, MO.
