Douglas A. Stelter, 25, of Kenosha, WI, died Thursday December 13, 2018 in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Douglas Allan Stelter was born May 31, 1993 in Libertyville, Illinois the son of Douglas B. Stelter and Brenda Abbott. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving as a field radio operator in Afghanistan.

Douglas was an ordained minister spending many hours counseling his comrades in arms. He also was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and four wheeling. Douglas is survived by: his parents; Douglas (Lisa) Stelter of Lake Geneva, WI and Brenda (Jason) Condrad of Burlington, WI, his grandparents; Allan and Helene Stelter of Door County, WI and Marlene Abbot of Avon, IL, a brother Erik Stelter, 2 sisters Jadyn Stelter and Kenzi Condrad.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Richard Abbott and an aunt Julie Abbott. Services for Douglas are being scheduled for a later date. Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, WI is honored to be serving the Stelter family in their time of need.
