OBITUARY Douglas A. Wilkins April 8, 1931 – January 31, 2019 Douglas A. Wilkins, age 87, of South Dennis, died January 31, 2019 after a brief illness. He is survived by his sister Audrey Woessner and her husband Karl of Yarmouthport; his niece Karen Blake and husband Chris of South Dennis; and great nephews Jared and Andrew. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Harold A. Wilkins and Winifred Simpson Wilkins.

He was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force and later became a Diplomatic Courier for the US Government. He received degrees from the University of Denver and the Arts Center College of Design in California. Throughout his life he traveled worldwide and pursued his talent and love for Photography.

He is best known for his photos of flowers taken at the Botanical Gardens of Wellesley College where he spent most of his time. Together again, Doug & Buster. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11 AM in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
