Obituary for Douglas C. Ellefson Douglas C. Ellefson, age 60 of Janesville died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 22, 1958 in Lake Geneva, WI, the son of late Rozella (Hanson) Ellefson. Doug operated his own merchandizing company until he was unable to work due to a disability.

Doug enjoyed spending time socializing and spending time with his friends. He could sometimes be very opinionated, but always had a friend where ever he went. Doug was quite the handyman, who could fix almost anything, and he was good at it.

He is survived by his children: Jennifer Gackstatter, Stephanie (Jordan Krogh) Anderson, and Joleen (Jon) Kooyman, all of Janesville; grandchildren: Jewel Davis, Tony Beighley, Gia Buttita, Addison Kooyman, Dalton Anderson, Maison Kooyman, Ava Krogh, Ani Beighley, Jordyn Krogh, and Wesley Krogh. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters: Al (Betty) Ellefson, Debbie (Don) Toftne, Kathy Solles, Kenny (Patty) Ellefson, Clint (Kathy) Ellefson, Tammy Dickman, Dawn Castle, Shawn Shabazz, and Steve Ellefson; the mothers of his children: Robin and Becky; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his daughter: Christa Clark.
