He was 55. Mr. Hammer was a construction worker and a graduate of the Hopewell Loudon High School in 1982.

He is survived by his companion Sherri Jenkins, brother Brian Hammer and sister Karen Hammer. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Hammer is under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home-Williston, FL.
