OBITUARY Douglas S. Hans September 21, 1947 – December 5, 2018 Douglas S. Hans, 71, passed away December 5, 2018. Beloved husband of Nancy Hans; Cherished Son of Rudy and the late Marian Hans; Step Father of Jessica (Mike) Degen and Alison (Marc) Gaddis; Grandfather of Zachary, Max, Joey, and Mila; Dear Brother of Dale (Peggy) Hans and James (Hilma) Hans; Uncle of Heather (Brian Strickland) Hans. Doug was proud of his position as the treasurer of Duguid Construction Company.

He was a gifted athlete and an avid runner as well as a Cubs fan and sports memorabilia collector; but most of all he loved his Brittany Spaniels. He loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 9th, 2018 from 3-8pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (corner of Northwest Hwy.

/Rt. 14 and Rand Rd. ), Des Plaines.
