He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Pearl Smith; parents, Aubrey and Mary Smith; children, Douglas smith and Robert Smith; sister, Fannie Holland; brother-in-law, Victor Russo and grandchildren, Frank Bosley, Billy Ray Smith and Christopher Camden. Surviving are his children, Harold Smith, Andrew Bosley, Karen (Tony) Hall and Jackie Clark; brother, Joe (Shirley) Smith; sister, Nelda Russo; grandchildren, Teresa Pearce, Russell Hall, Angelia Matthews, Samantha Bosley and Michael Smith, Larry Smith and Bobby Smith and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Fuller, Ernie Russell and Don Woodall. Funeral services will be Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Ken Blake officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Coosa River Cemetery next to Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Deatsville, AL.
