Obituary for Douglas M. Thompson Print Douglas M. Thompson Age 64, of Rock Stream and formerly of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away February 18, 2019. He is survived by his mother Alice Frazier of Rock Steam; daughter Alexandra Thompson of Penn Yan; brother Dennis (Darlene) Sharkey of Rock Stream; sister Beverly (Mitchell) Rea of Burdett; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Michael A. Thompson.

Doug was born in Bay Shore, Long Island on February 21, 1954. After graduating from Watkins Glen High School, he enlisted in the US Navy. Doug worked for many years as a carpenter and millwright, as well as for the Village of Watkins Glen.

Along with his love for the NY Giants, Yankees and Notre Dame, Doug also had a strong love for music. There will be no services. You may express condolences to the family online at www.
