He was born June 23, 1963 in LaMoure to Dallas and Lois (Lau) Willey. He grew up and attended school in LaMoure and graduated from high school in 1981.

After completing high school, he owned and operated an auto body shop in town. Soon thereafter he spent a few years working for his brother at Willey Milk Service and later became most well known for being the meat man at LaMoure Super Valu. Up until his death, he was working as the maintenance man at St. Rose Care Center.

He was united in marriage to Carol Burton and had two sons. Some of his passions included his love for automobiles and his pursuit of endless adventures. He also served as a member of the city council.

He is survived by two sons, Dillon (Kari) Willey and Derek Willey; a sister, Janelle Kratz; brother, Kevin (Connie) Willey; and one grandson, Skyler Dallas Willey. He was preceded in death by his mother & father and brother-in-law, Mike Kratz. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Zoar Lutheran Church, LaMoure.

Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
