Mr. Doyle Ballard, Jr. 84 of Morven passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at Archbold Medical Center. Mr. Ballard was born September 28, 1934 in Worth Co, GA and was the only son to the late Doyle & Ernestine Avery Ballard, Sr. The family later moved to Moultrie, GA. After serving in the U. S. Coast Guard, he and his family relocated to Brooks Co. Survivors include his wife, Tish Ballard of Morven; sons, Lee (Lisa) Ballard of Morven, and Robert K. Ballard of Pinetta, Fl.

; grandchildren Brandon Ballard, Megan Ballard, Cole Ballard, and Melissa Ballard; great grandchild, Savannah Ballard; one sister, JoAnn (Bill) Ponder of Thomasville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Quitman with Rev. Steve Shierling and Rev.

Mike Everson officiating. Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery with military rites The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at First Baptist Church Quitman.
