Doyle E. Cagle, 87, of Kokomo, went home to be with the Lord at 9:05 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born July 30, 1931 in Rector Arkansas to Roy and Gladys (Easton) Cagle. Doyle married the love of his life, Nancy Gray July 29, 1950 in Peru, Indiana and she survives him.

Doyle was a press operator for Haynes International for several years retiring in 1986. He was also a member of the Quarter Century Club with Haynes International and involved in the ministries of Parr United Methodist Church for over 60 years. Surviving family include his wife Nancy Cagle, Kokomo; his children, Connie Cagle, Kokomo; Kristie Utter, Indianapolis; and Mark (Sabrina) Cagle of Kokomo.

Surviving grandchildren include, Staci Jones, Amie Murphy, Keith Utter, Kyle Utter, Kameron Utter, Dustin Rodkey and Josh Rodkey. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and siblings, Jenny Miller, Pat (Charlie) McCarty and sister-in-law, Barb (Dale) Ellis. Doyle is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Blanche Blackburn and Wilma Manning.

A celebration of life service will be held at First Church of the Nazarene 2734 S. Washington Street, Kokomo, Indiana at 2:00 p.m. Monday May 6th, 2019 with Rev. B.J. Siefert officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery.

Visitation will take place from 12 noon until the time of services at church. Memorial contributions can be made to the family in Doyle’s honor. Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
