Doylene Caplinger-Finchum age 57 of Smithville, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 19, 1961 to her parents, the late Doyle and Dorothy Carter Caplinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Doyle Pack; husband, Brian Finchum; grandparents, Charlie Floyd and Vera Carter, Delton and Eunice Caplinger.

She was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church and a store clerk. Survivors include her brother, Charles (Rhonda) Caplinger of Smithville; niece, Jennifer Caplinger and nephew, Michael Caplinger both of Smithville; Aunt, Frankie (Jack) Watkins of Smithville; mother-in-law, Joy Conn of Indiana; special friend, Barbara (Charles) Fish of Smithville; several cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 4:PM Thursday, May 2, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro.

Royce Martin officiating and interment will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday 11:AM until the time of the service at 4:PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
