Dr. Craig Stoldt, 66 passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 at the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky. Craig was an honors graduate of the Bellevue Senior High School, class of 1970, where he excelled academically and athletically.

Craig exemplified the ideals of sportsmanship and athleticism which came to define his lifetime character. Craig was proud son of Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1974. He completed his Doctor of Dental Science Degree from Ohio State University, where he was an avid member of the Buckeye Nation.

He owned and operated a private dental practice in Bellevue from where he retired in 2016. Craig proudly served his country as an officer in the United States Air Force from 1977 to 1980 with the rank of Captain. He was honorably discharged from Edwards Air Force Base in California.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Nancy (Morog), brother, Curtis (Sharon) Stoldt, D.O., sister, Debra (Phillip) Mohr, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marjorie (Doan) Stoldt. Charitable donations in Craig’s name may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to First United Methodist Church, 901 Northwest St., Bellevue, OH 44811.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with family and close friends. Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl. , Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
