OBITUARY Dr. David A. Spieler September 30, 1937 – November 26, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of David Spieler announces his passing on Monday, November 26, 2018, in Tampa Florida at the age of 81 years. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 30, 1937, David graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1955. He then received his B.A. from Kalamazoo College in 1959, his Theology degree from Boston University in 1963 and received his PhD at the University of Michigan in 1972.

He is survived by his ex-wife Helen Marie (Rowe), three children Scott (Regina), Tara and Angela (David Pogorilich) and four grandchildren Sean, Eric, Melony and Taylor. David was preceded in death by his father Harold Wilbur Spieler 1904-1984 and mother Maurine (Marr) 1908-2006. He will be buried along with them in the Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin, Illinois.
