Obituary for Dr. James Williiam Ellis Dr. James William Ellis 47 passed away from a massive heart attack May 20, 2018 At Springhill Baptist Hospital Little Rock Arkansas with his family at his side. James was born February 26, 1971 in Council Bluffs Iowa to Clayton Keith Ellis and Madeline (Ellis) Henderson. He was a graduate of Ava High School, SMSU, University of Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine Kansas City, MO , interned at Via Christi Riverside Medical Center Wichita Kansas, Residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Family Practice.

Dr. Ellis was a Christian who read the bible. He spent most of his career as an ER Doctor in small hospitals of central Arkansas. The free time he had was spent working out in gyms, reading, and playing video games.

He was a fantastic artist and much of his art will live on. He was preceded in death by his father Keith Ellis, half- brother Greg Ellis, his beloved Grandma Louida Everhart and a step nephew DeMarcus White. He is survived by his mother and step-father William and Madeline Henderson of Squires, MO, half-brother Keith and Donna Ellis, West Fork, AR, half –brother Brian Ellis Winslow, AK , half- sister Phil and Chris Smith Prairie Grove AR a special Sister JC and Donnis Jones Winslow AK; uncle Clinton and Sandra Ellis, Springfield, SD; step-aunt Dale Cermele, San Antonio, Texas, step-sister Michelle Henderson, Colchester, CT, step-brother Joseph Henderson, Manchester, CT; special niece Joy and Scott Rye many other nieces and nephews a step-daughter Regan Steen, Greenbrier, AR and a host of friends.

A memorial Service will be held at the Ava General Baptist Church in Ava, MO at 2:00 PM Friday, June 1st, 2018 with Rev Oren Alcorn officiating.
