Obituary for Dr. Trisha Kay Schock Dr. Trisha Kay Schock, PhD. , age 52, of Fairport Harbor, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 25, 2018 after a courageous battle with Cancer. She was born in Alliance, on December 2, 1965.

She was a proud and devoted daughter, niece, friend and teacher. Trisha first graduated from Allegheny College in 1988 then Ashland University with her Master’s in 1994. Most recently she achieved her ultimate goal of receiving her Doctorate from Walden University in 2011.

After more than 25 years of teaching Kindergarteners at Sterling Morton Elementary School she went on to become a Professor at Norte Dame College where she was also the Coordinator of the Early Childhood Education Program. Over her extensive career Trisha had a profound impact on hundreds of students and left lasting impressions on all the lives she touched, and she will be missed by many. Our beautiful daughter gained her wings too soon but know that she was welcomed into Heaven to a host of family and is now able to visit the Rainbow Bridge which brings all peace and comfort.

Trisha is survived by her loving parents Delmas and Sandra Schock (nee Agnew) of Mentor, cherished uncle Corey Clayton of Sebring, dear friend Kelly Holcomb of Mentor, cousins Donna and Joe Trombetta and dozens of cats that she was able to find fur-ever homes. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Arthur J. (Margaret) Schock and William (Jennie) Agnew and aunt, Jennifer Kay Clayton. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 1 to 3pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd.

, Eastlake. A Memorial Service will follow at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Trisha can be made to Norte Dame College or any local Cat rescue.
