Drew M. Raymond, 20, of Little York, IL, passed away at 12:26 pm, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. He was born on July 6, 1998 in Galesburg, IL, the son of Troy Matthew and Jennifer Louise (Painter) Raymond. Drew was raised and educated in Monmouth and Little York, graduating from United High School in 2016.

He was currently attending Western Illinois University, studying Computer Science. Drew worked at WIU in the University Technology Lab and on the family farm outside of Monmouth. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Monmouth, and the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.

Drew enjoyed Jr. Sherriff’s Softball and playing basketball. He was a very talented piano player and liked making amateur movies. Surviving Drew are his parents, Troy Raymond of rural Monmouth, IL and Jenni Raymond of Little York, IL; one brother, Riley Painter, serving in the United States Marine Corps in California; one sister, Regan Raymond of Little York, IL; Paternal Grandparents, Sharon & Vincent Raymond of Monmouth; Maternal Grandparents, Betty & John Ballard of Monmouth, Terry & Deb Painter of Galesburg, IL; Maternal Great Grandparents, Jack & Louise Dutton of Monmouth; and Paternal Great Grandmothers, Betty Gaskill and Marilyn Huston, both of Monmouth, IL.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kayley Raymond. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Interment will be in Little York Cemetery, Little York, IL.

Visitation will be prior to the service from Noon-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Drew Raymond Memorial Fund.
