Duaine Ray Horton, 81 years old of Whitt, Texas passed away October 8, 2018, surrounded by his family who deeply loved him. Funeral service: 2 p.m., Thursday, October 11, 2018 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Whitt Cemetery. Visitation: 5-7p.

m, Wednesday at the funeral home. Duaine was born February 14, 1937 in Comanche, Texas to Gloyd and Mae Horton. He was married to Glenda Daniel Horton on March 8, 1958 and they just celebrated 60 beautiful years together.

… Read More » He served in the Army and had numerous other jobs, but he was proud to say he was the crane operator on the new Ranger stadium and Cowboys stadium. When he retired from crane operating he continued to work on their family farm. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; three daughters, Karla Daugherty and husband Chuck; Sheila Willis and husband Jackie of Weatherford; Paula Schrum and husband Shannon of Tennessee.

Grandchildren, Joey Willis and wife Erica; David Daugherty; Mandy Malott and husband Jeremy; Sarah Brown and husband Dusty. Great-Grandchildren, Tristan, Reese, Katie, Brooklyn and Daniel. Brothers, BW Horton and Ronnie Horton of Fort Worth and many nieces and nephews.
