Duane T. Jewett Sr. 84 of Jordan passed away Friday. Born in Syracuse, Duane lived in the Jordan area for most of his life. He was a truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union Local 317.

Duane was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Florence Jewett, brother Bobby, and sister Joyce Streeter.

Surviving are his wife Florence “Vickie” Jewett, children Duane T. Jewett Jr., Scott T. Jewett, Sue Ann Jewett, Barbara Ann Wheeler, and Robin Jewett, brother Ricky Jewett, sister Laura Raymond, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Jordan Ambulance Fund or Jordan Fire Department.
